At our Gastroenterology Department, we pride ourselves on offering specialized care and cutting-edge procedures to ensure the highest standard of gastrointestinal health for our patients. Here are some of the unique procedures we perform:

1. Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP):-

  1. A procedure combining endoscopy and fluoroscopy to diagnose and treat conditions of the bile ducts and pancreas, such as gallstones, strictures, and tumors.

2. Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS):-

  1. Utilizing ultrasound technology through an endoscope to visualize and assess gastrointestinal and adjacent organs for tumors, cysts, and staging of cancers.

3. Capsule Endoscopy:-

  1. Ingesting a pill-sized camera to capture images of the digestive tract, providing detailed views of the small intestine to diagnose conditions like Crohn's disease or obscure bleeding.

4. Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT):-

  1. Introducing healthy donor fecal matter into the patient's gastrointestinal tract to restore normal intestinal bacteria, primarily used to treat recurrent Clostridioides difficile infections.

5. Esophageal Manometry:-

  1. Measuring the strength and coordination of esophageal muscles to diagnose swallowing disorders, acid reflux, and other esophageal motility disorders.

6. Liver Biopsy:-

  1. Extracting a small sample of liver tissue to diagnose liver diseases such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, or fatty liver disease, helping guide treatment decisions.

7. Double-Balloon Enteroscopy:-

  1. Using a specialized endoscope with two balloons to explore and treat conditions of the small intestine, such as tumors, bleeding, or polyps, reaching deeper areas for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
